Surgery Supply List- VIDEO

My supply list, in RARE video form :-P

Videos of myself are so odd to watch. Is it terrible that I get annoyed of myself? :-P

Enjoy!

I'll definitely be referring back to this video when I'm nearer surgery! I bought one of those little tables for when I had my wisdom teeth taken out, and I've ended up using it all the time! I still use it now to eat off of and put my laptop on - it seems to stop my laptop overheating too, which it's prone too as it's pretty old!

Dani thanks for the video on surgical supplies! I found this VERY INFORMATIVE and it will no doubt be useful when I am ready for surgery.

Just curious, are you going to sleep in bed or in a recliner after surgery? I have heard that sleeping upright will help with the breathing especially when congested. I am thinking of getting one but I don't really like the look of recliners - haha at least night the comfortable ones! Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Tara, I still have no idea, actually. We don't have a recliner, but we have a close family friend who is willing to lend theirs to us. I feel like it sounds like too much work to bring it in and then bring it back when we're done with it, but it sounds like it would be easier to sleep in a recliner over just a bed with a bunch of pillows. I should probably figure that out! Haha. I will let you know when I do :)

Sarah, I have wanted one for a while to do school work on with my laptop while sitting in bed, so I am sure I will use it long after this surgery as well!

Hey ladies! I found one of those bedrest pillows at Target for $15. It's one of those pillows you see in college dorms and way back in the 80's, lol. The one with the arms and it allows you to sit upright. You know what I am talking about? Anyway, I put a regylar.pillow against it, and a pillow under my knees, and it's worked very nicely. If you don't know what I am talking about, let me know and I will send you a link.

Btw, dani, you are so adorable! :)

Dani this is a GREAT video! I am yet to do the big shop for post surgery supplies. I am saving that for mon/tues next week! Your list of things was very helpful, you are super organised :)
I will definitely be purchasing a similar "bed buddie" heat pack a humidifier and possibly a bed table from target. Such a good idea for the laptop also..
