I decided to make a video to show my progress at this point... BUT after uploading it, I realized I forgot to turn my mic on. Darnit! I will re-do it and post it tomorrow !
I walked into my managers' office today, and one of them goes 'you are GORGEOUS!' . He made sure to follow up with 'I hope that's okay, I mean, don't take that the wrong way.' Haha he's like the third person whose been worried about being border line inappropriate for making comments about my looks-- hehe I love my coworkers!

great pic dani! also just curious but do you know how much weight you've lost? my OS said to expect 10 pounds but that it will be gained back. i didn't think to ask him whether that would be lost and gained in a short period or not. i really don't want to lose much.

You look great! I hope my results are just as good! Have you gotten your splint out yet?

Wow! You look very different in your second pic than you did pre-surgery. In all your other pics, you don't look much different. But that one struck me. You look fabulous! Hell, you were gorgeous before surgery so of course you are going to be now. You look so "balanced". I was looking at some of your pre-op pics and your top lip was thin so I think you can definitely count on it going back to normal. My lip was at first huge, then it became way to thin for my liking. Now...it looks EXACTLY like it did pre-surgery. So no worries! You're co-workers sound wonderful. You should see if they can follow you around all day calling out nice little compliments. Hee hee!

And thanks for the nice comments on my post! People are just stupid, I think, and don't know the proper things to say. What-eva!! :-)
P.S. In my comment above, I don't mean that you look different now in general, just that you do in that one particular pic! The more I see before and after pics, I rarely think anyone looks completely different. Although I have seen a few! They are usually major cases with lots of stuff done. And they always look better in the end anyhow. I bet your boyfriend...who is still semi-"new" is thinking to himself, "Jackpot! I hit the freakin jackpot!" Tee hee!

Tara, I lost 12 lbs, and have gained about 5 lbs back! I stopped losing weight at probably 12 days post op, and then started gaining it back slowly. I don't think I will gain any more than 3 more lbs back, I was a bit over my normal weight before the surgery.
Molly, I get my splint out next Thursday!
Tina, I know, I look weird when my lips touch! Not like myself at all! I think it's also the angle I took the photo at, my mom wasn't around so I had to take the pics myself, and it can be a bit tricky sometimes! Hahah my boyfriend is so sweet, I think he believed he hit the jackpot BEFORE the surgery (he is nuts!) but now I am sure he is even more excited :) hehe. Wish I could get on the same page with everyone else on my looks!

Dani, thanks for answering my questions. You look so good!! I love looking at your progress pics! Will you be making a post of a before/after anytime soon? I think that would be cool to see side by side!
