Good News!

My tooth is successfully WHITENING! wee!

No veneer for me!

It is such an awesome feeling because this is something I have been so self conscious about for a long time. It's terrible when I smile big in pictures and one of my front teeth looks so much darker than the rest. I have really nice teeth, but it was just another thing that kept me from smiling big, I didn't want anyone to notice how discolored it was. Well, discolored no more!

I will probably do the whitening treatment for a few more days to get it to match perfectly with the other teeth. I will post a before and after picture when I reach the desired results.

I know how you fell that you want your teeth to look perfect, i had to wait two days to get my teeth cleaned after i had my brace taken off! It felt like forever! Not as long as you though! You will get the perfect teeth you want soon! :D yaay! xx

Congrats Dani! Your teeth will be perfect now!
I have a couple of questions for you, if you don't mind:
When you said you used Aquaphor after surgery, did you mean just the lip repair or the overall face cream?
Also, I read a post that you wrote before having surgery that said your surgeon would put stitches on either side of your nose to minimize the widening. Did he end up doing that or anything else to minimize the widening?

    HI Max!
I used the lip repair stuff. I highly suggest it, it was such a lifesaver. My surgeon did put stitches on both sides of my nose, which caused a bit of stiffness for a while! It definitely minimized widening, but didn't completely eliminate it. My nose is a tiny bit wider, but I honestly like it better now! :)

Great to hear! How is the tooth sensitivity? I want to whiten my teeth after I get my braces off but I did BriteSmile a few years ago and it was ungodly painful for 2 days. I know trays are supposed to be better for that. Have you had any sensitivity?

Thanks for the tips! Your nose does really suit your face now. You lucked out! I'm still worried about how my nose might widen though, but I'll ask my surgeon about stitching my nose.
